Vision
Agile development is used for managing the software development process. Our Virtual Sticky Board (VSB) will allow project managers and “Scrum Masters” to create and manage multiple projects in one convenient space.
Rationale
The VSB is a means to capture project tasks using sticky note widgets on a large, touch screen display allowing teams to easily and efficiently manage agile development projects. The system is meant to aid teams or individuals in their management of project tasks by allowing users to define high level goals, main tasks, and subtasks. Subtasks are characterized as either “Not Started,” “In progress,” or “Complete” and move along a continuum to monitor project health and task completion. The system’s task focused approach and visual capabilities will help users transform nebulous projects into actionable items. Team members can view multiple projects in one convenient location and collaborate with with others who also have a VSB. The VSB is a sustainable approach to project management by reducing office waste through the reduction in use of room space, paper, adhesives, and writing instruments.
