An interactive mashup built using the Yahoo! Maps API, Javascript, and XML
Created for Advanced Web Design with XML Technologies course at Rutgers University
Summer 2008
Screenshot of the interface

Rationale
The current mechanism on the Rutgers website to search for buildings provides the user with a static map devoid of the rich interface provided by a map service, such as Yahoo! Maps. With this updated version of the Rutgers building search, users can instantly retrieve location information and pan through the map dynamically and overlay street and satellite information.
Implementation
This is a mashup between several free services: Yahoo! Maps, RSS news feeds, and Weather.com feeds (currently not working).
